COMMUNITY WALKS

The South Staffordshire Walking Programme provides a range of weekly walks which are free of charge and take place across the district. Each walk is led by experienced and trained volunteer walk leaders.  The walks vary in length and difficulty with routes suitable for all fitness levels.
If you have never attended one of our walks, please contact the relevant
leader before turning up.  All new walkers please arrive 10 minutes before the start.

Walking Grade:  Please note that all of the walks have been given a grade in difficulty. To view more information relating to the grading, please see details below the timetable.

Would you be interested in becoming a walk-leader volunteer?

We are looking for people to join our team of trained volunteers and
help us to extend our programme of walks across the district. If you are
passionate about walking, enjoy the outdoors and like meeting new people, we would love to hear from you.  To become a walk leader, you just need to undergo some basic training which is free of charge and which we will run at a time that suits you.  To find out more contact our Walks Coordinator Louise at

The community exercise classes are for one hour per session and a small charge applies.   The Classes are available for people over the age of 50 and cater for all fitness levels. Places are limited. Walking Programme 2025

We provide a programme of weekly walks which are free of charge and take place every week from various locations across the district, all of which are led by qualified walk leaders. The walks vary in length and difficulty with routes suitable for all fitness levels. All new walkers will be required to complete a short registration form on arrival at your first walk.
