South Staffordshire Council works alongside the emergency services, local health services and other agencies to make sure we're as ready as we can be in the event of an emergency or major incident.
Civil Contingencies Unit (CCU) is a key agency jointly funded by local councils, the emergency services and local health bodies whose role is to keep Staffordshire prepared, sharing advice and guidance to ensure we have robust plans in place, and advice for residents and businesses.
We have plans to manage the most likely risks to affect Staffordshire and we train throughout the year to make sure we're ready.
Find out how you can prepare for an emergency and what we're doing to help keep South Staffordshire prepared by visiting Staffordshire Prepared - Preparing your community
