If you are signed up to our Garden Waste Service, collections finish on Friday, 13th December, 2024.
This is the last week of collections for the year.
Collections will recommence in the New Year from Monday, 13th January, 2024.

Climate change is without doubt the biggest environmental issue that we face today.
As the temperature of the earth changes, we are likely to see rising sea levels, extreme weather events, melting polar ice, flooding, a great loss in biodiversity, and mass extinction of species.
Without our urgent action these dangerous trends will continue, and we face huge challenges in the coming years. Our Climate Change Festival is just one way we're looking to make, facilitate and promote positive change across the district.
As a council we have declared a climate emergency and are committed to local action on climate change within the district.
We understand the importance of reducing the carbon footprint of our own operations and services, while engaging with our residents and partners to develop local action within our communities.
We have developed a Climate Change Strategy and a Climate Change Action Plan which provide a range of both strategic and operational activities and you can view these below.
