Food Hygiene Training

Food Hygiene Training

Food hygiene regulations state that food businesses must make sure that all food handlers receive adequate supervision, instruction and training in food hygiene for the work they do.

Although there is no legal requirement for food handlers to go on a formal training course or obtain an accredited qualification, many businesses may want their staff to have such training.

The CIEH have relaunched their learning programme. The Level 2 course has now been replaced with the Foundation Certificate in Food Safety.

Our course dates are:

Tuesday 28th January 2020

The course syllabus includes:

  • Introduction to Food Safety
  • The Law & Food safety hazards
  • Taking temperatures
  • Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding of foods
  • Cooking, hot holding and reheating of foods
  • Food handlers
  • Principles of safe food storage
  • Cleaning & Food premises and equipment

The course is a full day and is held at the Council Offices, Codsall. The fee is currently £60 per person with discounts available for multiple bookings from the same business and registered charities.

To attend please complete the booking form.

The course is accredited by the CIEH Royal Charter.
