If you are threatened with homelessness or want to apply to join our housing register, we will assess your housing application to determine what assistance or advice we can provide

The Housing Team can advise you on general needs, low level supported housing and sheltered (housing for older people) only.

If you were recently released from prison and do not have anywhere to live, you should contact the Housing Team for advice and support.

A care leaver is defined as a person aged 25 or under, who has been looked after by a local authority for at least 13 weeks since the age of 14; and who was looked after by the local authority at school-leaving age or after that date.

You may qualify for help if you are a former member of the armed forces and are homeless or threatened with homelessness; and you are eligible for assistance.

It is important that where you live is safe for you. Therefore, our Housing team will work closely with Children’s Service around helping you find somewhere to live. Our focus will always be to prevent you from becoming homeless.
