Baggeridge Country Park
Baggeridge Country Park
Advanced notice for driveway closing for re-surfacing
Due to essential resurfacing works being carried out on the entrance drive into Baggeridge Country Park, vehicle access will be unavailable for a few days from Monday 25 July 2022. Once this first phase of works has been completed, the driveway will re-open to vehicles. Week commencing 1 August, we will again need to close the driveway whilst final works are carried out. We have tried to keep this work to a minimum.
On the days that the driveway is closed, David Wilson Homes, who control Baggeridge Village Management Company Limited, have given permission for Baggeridge Country Park visitors to use Brick Kiln Way (Baggeridge Village) as a means of access into and out of the park. To minimise disruption as much as possible, drivers are asked to adhere to the 20MPH speed limit when passing through the village. Thankyou for your understanding and patience whilst we carry out these essential works.
Baggeridge Country Park are delighted to have been awarded the Green Flag for their 24th year as one of the country's best parks. The status is recognition of well managed parks and green spaces for their high standards and environmental management.
