Licensing Public Registers
Welcome to South Staffordshire Council interactive web-pages dedicated to providing up to date information and services in relation to the Council's Licensing function.
General information regarding the types of licences issued by the Licensing Service can be found by visiting the main Licensing Web-page.
The Licensing Service is currently moving its information from one database to another.
Information about the four following types of licences is on the new database.
- Scrap Metal Dealers Site Licence
- Scrap Metal Collectors Licence
- Private Hire Operators
- Temporary Event Notices
This data can be found here.
The following licences (for Gambling, Alcohol and Taxi and Private Hire Licences as detailed below) are currently being transferred to the new database. It will be necessary to look at both the new database (as detailed above) and the list of licences retained from our old system as specified in the lists below:

Alcohol Licencing/Licensing Act

- Premises Licence-no alcohol
- Premises Licence-with alcohol
Taxi and Private Hire Licences
- Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licences
- Private Hire Vehicle Licences
- Private Hire/Hackney Carriage Drivers Licences
Whilst we are currently updating our public registers, to get the most up to date information please ensure that you have checked both systems. The most up to date information will always be found on the new database.
