Publication Scheme Explained

The purpose of the publication scheme is to provide a guide to the information the Council publishes or intends to publish in the future.

Wherever possible the information will be made available on the Council website, however providing information electronically is not always possible and where this is the case you should request the information in writing.

What I can use the information for?

Information which is supplied to you under the legislation is for your personal use only and it may be subject to copyright, either the Council's or a third party's. Simply because information is published on the Council's website or available under the legislation does not mean the Council or the third party has waived its copyright.

If you wish to re-use any information you must write in to Legal & Democratic Services, Council Offices, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire, WV8 1PX.

The Cost

Where information is available online it is free for you to download and information that is already provided free of charge, such as leaflets and forms, will be e-mailed at no cost.

A charge will be made for a hard copy of any document held by the Council.

The Council may make charges for photocopying or posting information and you will be informed of any charge; any fee requested will need to be paid prior to the information being sent.
