Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places
Notice of Conclusion
South Staffordshire District Council has concluded a review of Polling Districts and Polling Places. The review took place between October 2018 and January 2019. The review was timed to enable any changes to be implemented before the next scheduled District and Parish elections on Thursday 2 May 2019.

During the review the Council asked for feedback on any aspect of any of the polling districts and/or polling places currently used or suggestions for alternative polling places. Any elector in South Staffordshire could have made a representation. The Returning Officer prepared proposals for the future polling arrangements and these were published on the 14 December 2018.
Representations received during the consultation stage were published as part of the review.
A report outlining the proposals and consultee responses were debated at a meeting of the Standards and Resources Committee on the 24 January 2019. The final changes take effect for all elections held thereafter. We will revert back to using Victory Hall as the Polling Station for Lower Penn (BXA) due to its central location. All other Polling Stations remain unchanged.
