Bins Hot Weather

Hot Weather Forecast (Tuesday 19 July)

Due to the extreme heat on Tuesday 19 July, the decision was made to suspend collections at approx. 1pm for the safety of our crews. Collections will recommence from 6am on Wednesday 20 July. If we did not make it to your street on Tuesday 19 July, please leave your bin presented for collection first thing Wednesday morning. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Commonwealth Games Time Trial Thursday 4 August 2022

There will be some changes to bin collections on Thursday 4 August as the Commonwealth Games Time Trial
comes through the South of the District.

If your property is due a recycling and/or green bin collection on Thursday 4 August and is on the race route
or an adjoining street within the race course, your bin collection will take place on Friday 5 August. There will be no changes to collections
due on Friday 5 August.

This mostly affects properties on the following roads and the adjoining streets which fall inside the race course route
(as we will not be crossing the race course route to the central areas):
A449 (Stourbridge Road)
B4176 (Dudley Road/Himley Road)
A463 (Wodehouse Lane)
Penn Road / Sedgley Road
