Raising awareness: Dementia support at Codsall Community Hub

We are thrilled to announce that our service teams have been honoured at the prestigious iESE Public Sector Awards 2025, celebrating their commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in service delivery. 

Established in 2022 by entrepreneur Naomi Price, Codsall Healthcare has quickly become a trusted provider of podiatry, orthotics, physiotherapy, and ear care services. With support from the Council’s Strive for Success programme, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Codsall Healthcare is set to expand its services and clinic capabilities.

South Staffordshire, UK – The Regenerative Health Clinic, led by dedicated Naturopathic Practitioner Virginia Dutton, is making strides in holistic healthcare. Virginia joined South Staffordshire Council’s Strive for Success programme in September 2024, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, with a vision to accelerate and expand her business.

Cheslyn Hay, UK – Claire Lawrence, owner of The Barber Station, has experienced a remarkable transformation in her business journey thanks to the South Staffs Council’s business growth programme, Strive for Success funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

South Staffordshire District Council (SSDC) is embarking on a joint campaign with Wolverhampton Council and Staffordshire Police called “it’s in your hands” to raise awareness about what residents can do to reduce fly-tipping. In 2023, clearing fly-tipped rubbish cost SSDC almost £90,000 which could have instead been spent on providing other services to our residents.

South Staffordshire District Council (SSDC) is embarking on a campaign with Wolverhampton Council and Staffordshire Police using the hashtag #throwitthursday to highlight the impacts of littering around the district.

The Council is currently reviewing all Council Tax accounts where a 25% Single Person Discount has been applied.
